Emily Jones

(Physical Therapy Assistant)

Emily became interested in physical therapy after injuring herself playing soccer and attending physical therapy. She has a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Arlington. Throughout her undergraduate degree, her love for physical therapy grew as she worked as a physical therapy technician. After completing her degree, she attended TCC to complete their PTA program and become a licensed physical therapist assistant. Since graduating, Emily has spent time working at orthopedic outpatient clinics and has enjoyed working with a wide variety of patients, including sports rehab, neurological conditions, post surgical, and chronic pain. She has recently spent over 2,000 hours and 2 years of training to become certified as a Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner by the Herman and Wallace Institute, helping her further specialize in treatments for prenatal patients, birth preparation, postpartum conditions, constipation, incontinence, prolapse, and many more. She is one of 5 in the Dallas Fort Worth area with this certification. Emily and her husband live in Arlington with their son, Landry, and they enjoy all things outdoors, including hiking and sports as well as staying involved in their church.
